Glasgow Living have teamed up with BBC Good Food Show Glasgow to offer 2 for 1 general admission to the event at SEC from Friday 20th – Sunday 22nd October but don’t hang around, there is a limited number available and you can get yours HERE.

Glasgow is fast becoming a one-stop shop for all things food. From cheap, fast and tasty to fine dining food in relaxed settings, there is no doubt that you will find something to suit your taste and your budget. With our increasing foodie status, it is no surprise that we see the BBC Good Food Show making a return to the city to celebrate the region’s finest food and drink. The event is happening on the 20th – 22nd October at the SEC Centre and this year’s show will host a stellar line-up of top chefs and experts, regional specialities and the very best local producers.

So what are our must-see highlights for this year’s event?

The Big Kitchen:

New for 2017, family favourite and host of the new BBC programme The Big Family Cooking Showdown, Nadiya Hussain will be cooking live in the Big Kitchen on Friday 20th October. On Saturday 21st it’s the turn of the two Toms – Michelin master Tom Kerridge and local hero Tom Kitchin, and Sunday 22nd sees Masterchef’s John Torode, Tom Kitchin and the entertaining Hairy Bikers cooking live.

Eat Like a Local:

Also new for 2017, you can enjoy a celebration of Scotland’s food and drink with chefs and producers from local restaurants, hosted by BBC Good Food’s editor-at-large, Barney Desmazery. Barney will be joined on the Big Kitchen stage by Red Onion’s John Quigley and local butcher Ramsey of Carluke on Friday, and on Sunday it’s The Drug Store Social’s Scott Leask and local/professional forager, Maxim – this session is FREE to attend for everyone and can be booked as an additional session.

BBC Good Food Stage:

Another newbie for this year is the BBC Good Food Stage – an interview stage where guests can watch live interviews with chefs and local experts appearing at the show over the weekend and have the chance to get your culinary queries answered by the experts!
