Urban Market at Dockyard Social
For fans of beautiful and handmade items – boy oh boy! – do we have an event to tell you about. Urban Market at Dockyard Social is what we would call the perfect way to spend this weekend. If this sounds like something up your street, keep reading for all the information you need.
This market in the West End of Glasgow will feature many local creators and artists selling their goods and wares. Here, you will find everything from zero waste products and homeware to clothing, jewellery and art. Additionally, you will be supporting local producers which is something very close to our hearts here at Glasgow Living.
We believe that life is too short to waste time fighting your way through overcrowded stores or to live permanently behind a screen ordering things online. Why not come along this weekend on Saturday 2nd or Sunday 3rd between 12 and 5, and nab yourself (or someone special) something nice instead. We promise you’ll have a nice day too!
And did we mention there will be food? Following their recent refurbishment this year, The Dockyard Social is better than ever, dishing out the very best street food Glasgow has to offer. And there is no need to worry if you have dietary requirements – Dockyard cater to vegan and coeliac needs as well. As if they couldn’t get any better!
The dog-friendly venue changes up their 10 food traders every 2 weeks, so if you have been before there is no excuse not to go again to try something new. Plus, there are resident DJs and themed bars to keep you merry.
Located within a 10 minute walk from both the Hydro and SEC, we recommend you leave your car at home as parking in the area is very limited. Instead, try to venture into the West End via train or subway for an easier journey.
If you do go this weekend we hope you have a fantastic time, and remember to tag us @glasgowliving on all your posts on socials!
