Move over pumpkin spiced lattes and Halloween! Hello advent calendars and Christmas! Kick the season off right by grabbing your family and yourself a ticket to a live performance of The Snowman at the Theatre Royal.

An enchanting live show version of the famed ‘The Snowman’ book and animated movie is coming right here to our very own city produced by The Birmingham Repertory Theatre Company. Tickets cost only £13 and the show runs from 13th to the 17th of November.

The nostalgia of this film can be felt across the generations and everyone who has seen the film is instantly struck with emotion when they hear the famous song ‘Walking in the Air’ originally composed by Howard Blake which will of course be featured in the show.

This would be a fantastic was to introduce younger children to an older but timeless story. The performance is based on Raymond Brigg’s much adored book and follows the same story of a young boy who goes on an adventure with his snowman.

The Theatre is a short walk away from Glasgow Queen Street train station and is wheelchair accessible. There are drinks and other refreshments available including alcohol for older visitors.
