GlasGLOW returns to The Botanic Gardens in time for Halloween
Mesmerising Light Show in Glasgow’s West End
Enchanted Forrest, Illuminight and now GlasGLOW have cemented themselves on the calendar as annual events across Scotland.
2018 seen GlasGLOW’s organisers, itison, host 75,000 visitors despite the event being a first for the experience-based company. GlasGLOW managed to turn one of the most well-known parks of the west end into an incredible light show that includes a close up of the moon, dancing fairy lights
and even dragons.
Itison is aiming to host 100,000 visitors this year at the Botanic Gardens once again. The organisers say that this year will be bigger and better than last year, with a unique 60-minute immersive experience, guiding its guests through nine different portals. The GlasGLOW site shares some of the portals you will step through, and we’re super excited about Marshmallow Land.
“Last year we were just warming up!” Says founder, Oli Norman. “We’re introducing a majority community element to give back … we can’t wait to share it with everyone.”
The event will run from 25th October until 3rd November, giving you a broad enough timeframe to visit the spectacle. Tickets aren’t on sale just yet, but early bird offers will be available from Tuesday 20th August exclusively from itison.com. Visit the GlasGLOW Facebook Event or follow them on Instagram for teasers of what’s in store at this year’s event.
